A recent Chabad of Hewlett Young Jewish Professionals party,
with special guest and former NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom.

Hewlett, NY – The Chabad of Hewlett, under the guidance of Rabbi Nochem and RivkieTenenboim, joined forces with Young Jewish Professionals founder Jake Scheiner to host a special Shabbat dinner that brought together over a dozen dynamic young professionals from the greater Hewlett community. This event, which took place on Friday, August 25, was a testament to the thriving Jewish community in Hewlett and their commitment to fostering connections among the next generation of Jewish leaders.

The Young Jewish Professionals Shabbat Dinner, held at the home of Rabbi Nochem and Rivkie
Tenenboim was an evening filled with warmth, spirituality, and camaraderie. Rabbi Nochem
Tenenboim, Rivkie Tenenboim and Jake Scheiner collaborated to create an atmosphere that
was both welcoming and inspirational. The dinner was carefully designed to provide young
Jewish professionals with an opportunity to come together, celebrate Shabbat, and build
meaningful connections.

Rabbi Tenenboim, known for his dedication to fostering Jewish unity, expressed his enthusiasm about the event, saying, "It was truly heartwarming to see so many young professionals gather for this special Shabbat Dinner. Our goal was to create a space where they could connect with their Jewish heritage, find common ground, and establish bonds that will last a lifetime. The evening exceeded our expectations in every way." Jake Scheiner, the President of the Young Jewish Professionals, shared his perspective on the importance of such gatherings. "In today's fast-paced world, it's crucial to create opportunities for young Jewish professionals to come together, unwind, and connect on a deeper level. Shabbat Dinner is the perfect setting for this, as it allows individuals to take a break from their busy lives and focus on the spiritual and communal aspects of their identity."

The Chabad of Hewlett Young Jewish Professionals are already planning future events to
continue nurturing the bonds formed at this Shabbat Dinner and to provide more opportunities
for young Jewish professionals to connect and grow together. For more information about
